Sabil USA hosted their annual iftar on May 11, 2019, and it was a lot of fun! Good food, great company, and an even better cause! Glad I got a chance to photograph this worthwhile event.

One of my favorite things to do during wedding and engagement shoots is capturing “firsts.” That’s really easy with observant Muslim couples because shortly after the ceremony they get to embrace each other for the first time. You can see the sheer joy in their eyes. Sarah was worried she’d be uncomfortable in front of the camera, but I made she was more focused on the moment by capturing candid documentary-style shots! #success
These lovebirds, Nuran and Cecilia, are getting married soon. They wanted to take some natural photos to display at their reception. Besides being really fun to work with, it was refreshing to see such raw emotion on display.
Baby Amal just turned six months old. She’s full of energy and smiles. It was a lot of fun capturing this young family’s love in their home and at a park down the street.
Birthdays are always special, but there’s something about round numbers that make them that much more momentous. Was glad to capture this wonderful group’s celebration of their friend’s 40th.
